On California’s June 7th Primary Day, “Ask A Voter” honors our biannual tradition of bringing voter stories to you listeners, on your way to the voting booth. Invited guests include: Giesela Tanner (minute 1:53), mother of Ellis Tanner, advocate of victims of violent crimes and one of many Moms Demand Action; Brianna, AKA @InMiniVanHell (minute 14:30), O C analyst extraordinaire on Twitter; and U C Irvine English Professor and founding director of Illuminations Julia Lupton (minute 36:21). Voting centers and Registrar of Voters ballot drop boxes will be open til 8 pm. If you are in line before 8 p.m., stay in line, and vote. Help someone get to these places.
